Middlesbrough and Sunderland are in discussions over a move for Ghana international Edwin Gyasi.
The winger, who plays for Aelsunds in Norway, has also drawn attention from Premier League West Bromwich Albion and can leave for an initial £600,000 with add-ons.
Born and raised in Holland to Ghanaian parents, Gyasi made his international debut for Ghana in a World Cup qualifier against Congo last September and scored his first international goal in a 1-1 draw with Egypt in November.
The 26-year-old is 6ft 1ins tall, can play as a secondary striker and scored six goals this year for Aelsunds.
