Middlesbrough 0-1 Brighton: Glenn Murray rounds off bad week with fortunate injury-time winner to take Seagulls through to fifth round of the FA Cup

An eventful week had a happy ending for Glenn Murray as his late winner at least spared both clubs the pain of a replay.

The Brighton striker and his wife were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of a £1.1million tax fraud.

But Murray came from the bench to score the game's only goal in the 90th minute, albeit fortuitously when George Friend's attempted clearance cannoned off the substitute's standing knee and flew beyond Darren Randolph in the home goal.
