'It's difficult for a player to come from the Championship and be ready': Tottenham assistant coach Cristian Stellini insists Djed Spence needs 'time' to adapt... with the wing-back playing just THREE minutes of football since joining the club

Tottenham assistant coach Cristian Stellini has hinted that the club must be patient with Djed Spence as the wing-back adapts to the club.

Spence arrived in north London in the summer for £20m from Championship side Middlesbrough.

The England under-21 international had excelled on loan at Nottingham Forest last season as he helped guide Steve Cooper's side to promotion via the play-offs.

Djed Spence has played just three minutes of football for Tottenham so far this campaign
