Former Tottenham and Middlesbrough striker Mido shows off bold new look as he continues to enjoy retirement

As the likes of Ronaldo and Maradona have shown, it is not uncommon for retired footballers to look almost unrecogniable from their playing days.

Now former Tottenham and Wigan striker Mido has followed the trend, showing off his new look to the delight of his Twitter following.

The 34-year-old, who retired in 2013 after a short spell at Barnsley, now sports a fetching moustache and a rather eye-catching fashion sense.
