Middlesbrough forward Tommy Conway has said the squad is hurting following a fourth straight league defeat.
Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Watford saw Boro lose further ground on the hunt for a play-off spot, with Michael Carrick's side now 11th in the Championship, four points below West Bromwich Albion in sixth.
"Frustrating - I think that's the word," said Conway. "In the changing room, everyone's still on the same page, no one's letting their head drop.
"For me, it means everything. When you lose so many games on the bounce, it affects you mentally.
