Aitor Karanka fears that money will talk when it comes to keeping Ben Gibson at Middlesbrough.
The Boro boss believes the 23-year-old is destined for the top but wants him to remain under his charge on Teesside for the time being.
Chelsea have been watching Gibson in recent months and he is also expected to make the step up to Gareth Southgate's England squad having been capped 10 times at Under-21 level.
And Karanka said: 'He can get to the very top.
