Cole Palmer has come under fire for missing a sitter during Chelsea's Carabao Cup clash with Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening.
Palmer had the chance to level the score at the end of the first half after Hayden Hackney gave Michael Carrick's side the lead in the 37th minute.
Palmer's opportunity came after Middlesbrough goalkeeper Tom Glover spilled the ball following Enzo Fernandez's long range effort.
The ball fell into the path of Palmer, who was five yards out from the goal. All he had to do was slot it into the back of the net to cap off a disappointing first half.
