Middlesbrough are looking to finalise a deal for Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford that could be worth as much as £10million.
The Blues have accepted a bid worth £6m plus a further £4m in performance-related add-ons and the transfer could be finalised by Monday night.
Bamford enjoyed his best season at the Riverside in the 2014/15 campaign, scoring 21 goals for Boro including 19 in the Championship, also claiming the league's Player of the Year award.
But he has started just two league games since that loan spell came to a conclusion with three failed loan spells at Crystal Palace, Norwich and Burnley to blame.
