Chelsea set to make £8.5m profit on Patrick Bamford despite him playing ZERO games during his five-year spell

Middlesbrough are looking to finalise a deal for Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford that could be worth as much as £10million.

The Blues have accepted a bid worth £6m plus a further £4m in performance-related add-ons and the transfer could be finalised by Monday night.

Bamford enjoyed his best season at the Riverside in the 2014/15 campaign, scoring 21 goals for Boro including 19 in the Championship, also claiming the league's Player of the Year award.
