Play-off hopefuls Middlesbrough were held to a 1-1 draw away to Brentford today despite taking the lead through Adama Traore.
Traore, who has been in inspired form of late, opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a well-struck effort, but Brentford equalised 13 minutes later courtesy of Lewis MacLeod's first goal of the season.
The result means that Middlesbrough still occupy the final play-off spot, although they are just one point ahead of their closest challengers Bristol City, while Brentford are 11th.
Brentford were reduced to ten men in second half stoppage time when substitute Romaine Sawyers was sent off for two bookable offences.
