Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Guzan has signed a pre-contract with MLS side Atlanta United for the summer.
The 32-year-old will stay at the Riverside until the conclusion of the current Premier League campaign before heading stateside.
The USA international opened his career in his home country, before moving to England in 2008 for spells with Aston Villa, Hull and Boro.
Currently he is second-choice stopper under Aitor Karanka, with former Barcelona star Victor Valdes the No 1.
