Middlesbrough left-back George Friend has signed a new four-year deal with the Premier League club.
The 28-year-old defender, who joined Boro from Doncaster Rovers in 2012, said: "What I can promise in return is to continue to give 100% commitment."
His fellow defender Daniel Ayala also signed a new-four year deal last week.
Boro, who begin their Premier League campaign at home to Stoke on Saturday (15:00 BST), are back in the top flight for the first time since 2009.
The Teesside club have made 10 signings this summer, with former Manchester United left-back Fabio's arrival from Cardiff the most recent acquisition.
