MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – After a disappointing trip to south Florida last weekend, Middle Tennessee's women's tennis returned home looking to reverse its fortunes in its first in-conference match of the year.
Perhaps the cold weather outside had its effect on the team, though, as it wasn't able to heat things up on the court in a 6-1 loss to Old Dominion.
Senior provided a spark by winning her first singles match of the season 7-6, 6-4 over ODU's Oleksandra Andrieeva. After a hard-fought singles win at Florida Gulf Coast last week, which included an 11-9 third-set win, couldn't get herself back in the win column today.
