MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Left-hander Peyton Wigginton tossed his second complete game of the season en route to the Blue Raiders (8-14, 3-2) defeating LA Tech (13-9, 1-4) by a score of 4-1 on Saturday evening.
"Peyton was really good," head coach Jim Toman said. "He had all three pitches going against a really good hitting team."
Wigginton had the Bulldogs offense off balance all day, striking out nine batters and walking just one. LA Tech did grab a run in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly but wouldn't threaten to score the rest of the way.
