COOKEVILLE, Tenn.—The Middle Tennessee volleyball team defeated Southern Illinois in four sets by scores of 27-25, 25-23, 11-25, 25-18. The Blue Raiders improve to 4-7 on the season, while the Salukis fall to 6-6 overall.
Urte Neimantaite led the team attacks with a total 16 kills on the match. Dora Peonia recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 16 digs. Freshman Kayla Henley also tallied a double-double, the second of her career, with 11 kills and 14 digs. Taylor Hammill dished out 40 assists and 15 digs to record her fifth double-double on the year.
