KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tri-Star Classic baseball tournament scheduled to be played at Smokies Stadium this weekend has been moved to the University of Tennessee's Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
"It's unfortunate that we're not going to be able to play at the Smokies' park because we were looking forward to it," said Middle Tennessee Head Coach Jim McGuire. "Their groundskeeper decided that it wasn't safe due to all the rain, but we're lucky that the University of Tennessee was willing and able to move it to Knoxville."
Due to the change in venue, the times for all games this weekend have been shifted as well.
