MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee freshman Amelia Van Der Werff was selected to the Conference USA Volleyball All-Freshman team, announced Wednesday by the league office.
Van Der Werff is the third player in program history to be named to the C-USA All-Freshman team and the first since teammate Kayla Henley earned the honor in 2019. The Leavenworth, Kan., native started all 15 matches during her debut campaign at middle blocker with a team-leading .347 hitting percentage.
She is second on the team in points (180.5), second on the team in kills (149), and third on the team in blocks (36).
