EATONTON, Ga. – A tough start to round two of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hampered the Blue Raiders Saturday, as they fell one spot into eighth after a round of 26-over par 314.
Middle Tennessee was already 18-over par at the turn before battling on the second nine to stay within striking distance of a move into the Top 5 on the team leaderboard.
"It was just a tough day out there today all the way around," Head Coach Chris Adams commented. "Hole locations, wind, and just lacking some confidence from not having much practice time coming in definitely played a part in our struggles today, but I thought we stayed strong.
