DALLAS – Three Middle Tennessee student-athletes earned Conference USA Scholar Athlete Awards for their respective sports, as announced by the league Friday. Owen Stamper earned the men's golf honor for the second consecutive season, while Leo Raquin took the men's tennis award and Purity Sanga was named the women's cross country Scholar Athlete Award recipient. This marks the second straight year that three Blue Raiders have earned Scholar Athlete Award honors.
Stamper, a Scottsville, Kentucky native takes home the men's golf Scholar Athlete Award for the second consecutive season. He represented the Blue Raiders as an individual at the NCAA West Lafayette Regional.
