MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Eston Snider and his team dominated Game 3 to win the Fall World Series, two games to one.
Trace Phillips put Team Snider on his back in Game 1, going 4.1 scoreless innings while striking out six and walking one. He topped out with a 96-mph fastball while dialing in his changeup and slider. He also posted a .400 batting average for the series.
Tyler Minnick was also a difference-maker for Team Snider, hitting a go-ahead two-run shot en route to the 6-1 victory over Team Wirtz.
Chandler Alderman and Drew Horn were on the mound for Saturday's matchup, and both gave their teams a good chance to win.
