DALLAS – Middle Tennessee quarterback Brent Stockstill was named today the Conference USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office. Stockstill led the Blue Raiders to an upset win over FAU.
Stockstill tallied 259 yards through the air on 27-of-40 passing against preseason Conference USA favorite FAU and tossed a touchdown pass for the 27th consecutive game, the second longest streak in the nation behind Penn State's Trace McSorley.
Stockstill was MT's leading rusher on the evening as well, carrying the ball 14 times for 56 yards to put him over 300 total yards against the Owls.
