MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee quarterback Brent Stockstill and safety Jovante Moffatt have both been named Conference USA Players of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. Stockstill was the offensive player award winner and Moffatt brought home the defensive honor.
Stockstill had a memorable game in the only start of his career against Marshall in Huntington on Friday. Stockstill was 25-of-40 for 317 yards and two touchdown passes, while also rushing for an additional 31 yards and a score.
Stockstill was at his best in the pivotal third quarter when he completed 11-of-15 attempts for 101 yards and a score to rally the Blue Raiders to their first-ever win in Huntington.
