MURFREESBORO, Tenn.— Middle Tennessee softball stepped up in competition Saturday to play its first game of the fall against a non-junior college, falling to Trevecca by a score of 6-5 in 10 innings.
Corrina Dodd got the ball to start her second game of the fall — she also started the first game of the fall against Calhoun Community College. Dodd threw three scoreless innings, only giving up one hit in 10 batters faced.
"Today was the best outing [Corrina's] had," MT Head Coach Jeff Breeden said. "She's had a little back issue, but she's been able to do more bullpen time, and she did a good job.
