MURFREESBORO, Tenn.– Middle Tennessee softball tied its fall exhibition game against Walters State Community College 4-4 on Sunday afternoon at Blue Raider Softball Field.
The Blue Raiders would strike first in the second inning after singles from Riley Gilmore and Ava Tepe. Ava Brooks drove in another run in the second inning with an RBI single.
Walters State threatened to answer with a run of their own after a pair of base hits to start the third inning but would be thrown out at the plate by Shelby Sargent to keep the Senators scoreless.
