SMYRNA -- On paper, it was a matchup of two teams with equal 2-0 records in 6A Region 5 play.
But on the field it was a mismatch, as Cane Ridge (5-1) rolled to a 35-0 win over Smyrna (3-3) on Friday.
Ravens running back Devon Starling racked up nearly 100 yards and two touchdowns, breaking tackles all night. Receiver Jared McCrary had a great game as well, with more than 120 all-purpose yards including a break-away 45-yard touchdown.
Bulldogs junior linebacker Josh Bailey said he knows his team is down after starting the season on a high note.
