MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – What a week it was for Charity Savage.
The senior forward turned in two double-doubles and one of the top games in the nation this season in regard to rebounding on her way to averaging 20 points and 19 rebounds in two Lady Raider wins.
Savage's heroics were rewarded when she was named Conference USA Player of the Week for the second time this season Sunday.
With Savage turning in career-best performances, Middle Tennessee (21-9) earned wins against North Texas and Charlotte to clinch a first-round bye in this week's C-USA Championship in Frisco, Texas.
