FAYETTEVILLE, AR, Nov. 1, 2016 – The Burlsworth Trophy and the Springdale (AR) Rotary Club announced today the 52 players nominated from Division 1 (FBS) schools from across the country for the 2016 Burlsworth Trophy and Middle Tennessee's made the list.
Rhodes joined the Blue Raider program in 2013 as a walk-on after serving five years in the United States Marine Corps. Rhodes has since played in every game for the Blue Raiders, including 24 straight starts.
In the award's seventh year, the Trophy is named in honor of Brandon Burlsworth, former University of Arkansas Walk-On and All-American offensive lineman.
