INDIANAPOLIS – Middle Tennessee baseball, women's golf, men's cross country and women's tennis have all earned Public Recognition Awards this Spring as released by the NCAA on Wednesday. The four teams are the most recognized by the NCAA in Middle Tennessee history and the fourth time overall that at least three teams have been honored.
Baseball, led by first year head coach Jim Toman, is being recognized for the second straight year after compiling an impressive score of 996. The awards are based on the most recent multi-year Academic Progress Rate.
Blue Raider women's golf, led by 12th-year head coach Chris Adams, was recognized for the sixth straight year.
