MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – No. 31 Middle Tennessee men's tennis earned back-to-back victories on Friday, defeating Conference USA foe UAB, 4-0, followed by a 6-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Opening up the first match of the day against UAB, the Blue Raiders secured the doubles point on court 2 with Chris Edge and Tom Moonen defeating UAB's duo, Bradbary/Puric, 6-2.
Clinching the doubles point for the Raiders, sophomore tandem Pavel Motl and Stijn Slump battled against UAB's Lusovsky/Postolka and took down the Blazer duo, 6-2.
Leading 1-0 heading into singles, the Blue Raiders led on six courts after the first set with Tom Moonen winning the Raiders' first singles point on court 1 by defeating Postolka, 6-3, 6-0.
