MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee's men's tennis team posted an overall singles record of 77-38 and was 30-21 in doubles action this fall in seven events, but the Blue Raiders are eyeing their next opportunity to get on the court.
Jan Porteset and Chris Edge were added to a team that returned all eight players from a year ago, and the pair of newcomers made a statement in their first fall as Blue Raiders. Porteset's MT career got off to a fast start, as the senior transfer won six of his first seven matches.
