MIAMI, Fla. – Middle Tennessee improved on its day one score by three strokes Tuesday, logging a 19-over 307 to help them move up one spot in the field through 36 holes.
The Blue Raiders now sit in 12th at 41-over (310-307=617) with 18 holes left to play Wednesday at the Biltmore.
Junior Hanley Long continued to pace MT with a 1-over par 73 to stand at 3-over (74-73=147) for the tournament and moved up two spots into a tie for 16th in the field of 75.
Redshirt junior Jenna Burris played a solid round much of the day as well before a late stumble left her at 4-over 76 on the day, four strokes better than her round one score.
