Freshman will make his first career start on the mound for the Blue Raiders after impressing in his 11 relief appearances this season.
The righty from Locust Grove, Ga., holds a 3.80 ERA, bested only by and in the Blue Raider bullpen. Spencer has 19 strikeouts to just seven walks in 21 and one-third innings and is 1-0 with two saves on the year.
