MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – On the final day of competition at the Commodore Invitational, the Blue Raider track & field teams finished with two first-place finishes and six finishers in the top five.
Eliud Rutto conquered the 17 competitor field and finished first in 1:49.11. Rutto earned first-team All-America honors at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships and it was the last time that Rutto raced in the 800 meter as he did not compete in 2014-15.
Earning the other first-place finish was Vincent Okot. The Gulu, Uganda native bounded 15.86 meters (52-0), while earning his second individual title in as many days.
