Murfreesboro, Tenn.- The Middle Tennessee softball team lost the final game of their three game series to Marshall. The Raiders (25-24, C-USA 9-11) were shut out on Senior Day by the Thundering Herd's (31-17, C-USA 14-7) ace pitcher Abigail Tolbert.
Tolbert picked up all three wins in the Raiders' series against the Herd. Tolbert didn't allow a run all series, shutting out the Raiders in 16 innings. The West Virginia native collected her 20th win of the season in game three and finish with three strikeouts, allowed four hits, one walk, and hit one Raider batter.
