Murfreesboro, Tenn.- The Middle Tennessee softball team dropped both game of a doubleheader with Marshall. The Raiders' (25-23, C-USA 9-10) offense could not match the Thundering Herd's (30-17, C-USA 13-7) thundering bats, as they hit eight home runs in the two game set.

In the first inning of the series Marshall jumped out to an early 4-0 lead off of three home runs. The second would be more of the same as Mya Stevenson hit her second home run of the game, and extended the Marshall lead to 7-0.
