MEMPHIS, Tenn.–Middle Tennessee (5-6) dropped a pair of games Saturday to Memphis (4-6) by a score of 7-5 in game one, and 8-6 in game two.
"We couldn't hold them," Head coach Jim Toman said. "We got the lead early in both games but they came back on us."
GAME 1
A two-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning propelled the Tigers to victory over the Blue Raiders in game one of the doubleheader.
Starter Peyton Wigginton was once again dominant on the mound until he found trouble in the sixth inning.
