CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – After the Blue Raiders split to two different meets last weekend, the Middle Tennessee track & field teams all competed in the same location, with the Blue Raiders earning 36 top-five finishes at the Joey Haines Invitational.
As a team, the MT women earned the team title with 145.5 points, while the MT men placed second with 107 points.
On the women's side, Pershawna Williams and Barbara Vilson dominated the high jump, tying for first after clearing 1.67 meters (5-5.75). Vilson was equally as dominate in the 400-meter hurdles, capturing first in 1:05.
