MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee track & field teams completed their lone home meet during the indoor season, claiming 10 first-place finishes in the six team event in the Murphy Center.
"Distance runners had a good day and so did most of the jumpers," said head coach Dean Hayes. "It was good to be at home and have a meet here in the Murphy Center."
The mile started off the running events for the Blue Raiders and it provided a show for the fans in attendance.
On the women's side, Agnes Abu battled with Chattanooga's Teghan Henderson with Abu pulling away in the final few meters to secure the victory in 4:58.
