OXFORD, Miss. – A short-handed Middle Tennessee Men's Basketball team was on the wrong end of another in a long series of challenging road contests Saturday, falling to Southeastern Conference opponent Ole Miss, 82-64.
Former Blue Raider head man Kermit Davis' squad came out hot in the Pavilion, taking a 9-0 lead before freshman Tyson Jackson got MT on the board three minutes in.
The Raiders battled a flurry of Ole Miss 3-pointers early and often as the Rebels opened the game hitting 8 of their first 9 triples to take a 36-18 lead at the 8:45 mark.
