MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee softball team returned to the field for the first time since their NCAA Regional Tournament appearance. The Blue Raiders opened up fall ball play at home against Cleveland State and posted two wins, 17-2 and 6-0.
"I thought our kids played really well," said Head Coach Jeff Breeden. "I thought we had a lot of energy when we came to the park today. WE're gonna wear a bullseye on us from our championship last year, which is fine with me. Our kids are going to come out and play hard every day, and I thought we did that.
