MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – For the third time in as many weeks, Middle Tennessee was represented when the Conference USA indoor track weekly honors were released. Jacob Patten, for the second time in 2016, has been named C-USA Male Field Athlete of the Week.
Patten, a freshman from Memphis, Tennessee, cleared 2.14 meters (7-0.25) in route to winning the high jump at the Emory Invitational Sunday. Patten set a personal-best with the jump and nearly eclipsed the Middle Tennessee indoor record, which was set in 2005 by Alex Pruitt, who cleared 2.17 meters (7-1.
