JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – At the conclusion of the NCAA East Preliminaries, Middle Tennessee claimed four individual qualifications for the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.
Jacob Patten qualified for the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas after earning a qualifying finish in the men's high jump on Saturday afternoon. Patten jumped a personal-best height of 2.19-meters, finishing eight among the preliminary field.
Likewise, Kigen Chemadi qualified for his second NCAA Championship event on Saturday evening in the men's 5,000-meter event. Chemadi placed second overall in the field, finishing with a time of 14:00.
