MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — In the beginning of the 2019 season, Middle Tennessee's offensive line operated like an NHL team, with full line changes at times between possessions.
As the Blue Raiders navigate through their nonconference schedule in 2020, the offensive line again could see more than five guys subbing in and out. That way, when Conference USA play comes around, hopefully there are five who push above the rest and solidify themselves in starting spots. They could also escape some early-season injuries.
"That's what you want," offensive line coach Rick Mallory said.
