MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Your Middle Tennessee Men's Basketball team showed toughness on the road this past weekend, sweeping the CUSA Mountain Time Zone swing with wins over New Mexico State and UTEP, setting up a massive clash between two of the top teams in Conference USA on Thursday night in the Glass House against Liberty.
With the Flames' loss to Kennesaw State on Sunday, Thursday's game will move the winner into a tie with Jacksonville State for first place in Conference USA ahead of the final day of CUSA play on Saturday. Two wins this week for the Blue Raiders, including Saturday's game over FIU, would assure MTSU of at least a share of the CUSA regular season title.
