MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Coming off their final open week of the season, Middle Tennessee football might not seem to have much to play for in their final home game of the season this week, when they welcome New Mexico State to Floyd Stadium for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday. With the Blue Raiders at 3-7 and the Aggies at 2-8, both teams will be playing for pride.
But for MTSU, it's a chance to send off their seniors with a win in their final time on the turf in Murfreesboro.
"Football is like a carton of milk: it has an expiration date on it," head coach Derek Mason said.
