MURFREESBORO, Tenn.– For the third time in his Middle Tennessee career, Miguel Negre Fernandez was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, according to the conference office on Tuesday.
"Miguel is an outstanding student-athlete both on and off court," MT head coach Jimmy Borendame said. "He is a great role model and team guy for our younger players."
As a senior, Negre currently has a 3.914 GPA while majoring in Mechatronics Engineering. He's participated in every match for the Blue Raiders this spring and has a record of 10-11 in singles and a 15-2 mark in doubles with partner Gonzalo Morell Raschiatore.
