MURFREESBORO – Middle Tennessee head football coach Rick Stockstill announced today two more transfers into the program who will be eligible immediately. The Blue Raiders have added linebacker Jurriente Davis and cornerback Deonte Stanley who are both fresh off a national championship.
Davis (6-0, 235) and Stanley (6-2, 193) helped lead No. 1 ranked Hutchinson CC to the NJCAA National title with a come-from-behind, 29-27, win over No. 2 ranked Snow on June 5.
Davis, who led Hutchinson with nine tackles and 2.5 TFLs in the championship game, earned First Team All-American honors in 2021.
