DALLAS, TX – The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders swept the Conference USA Women's Tennis Athlete and Doubles Team of the Week honors, the CUSA office announced.
Alessia Truden was named CUSA Athlete of the Week after securing two wins in last week's matchups against Belmont and Murray State. She won both of her matches in straight sets, with a dominant performance against Murray State, taking the match 6-4, 6-0.
Truden looks to maintain her momentum as a key player on Court 1 for the Blue Raiders.
Cassidy Matia and Ilaria Sposetti earned CUSA Doubles Team of the Week honors after an impressive showing last week.
