| MTSU sent its seniors out in style as the Lady Raiders rolled past FIU, 77-55, in front of 3,707 fans on Senior Day at Murphy Center on Saturday. The Lady Raiders (21-8, 15-3) clinched the No. 2 seed in the C-USA Championships with the win and will play in the quarterfinals at Bartow Arena Thursday at 5 p.m. Fittingly, senior Brea Edwards led the way with her eighth double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds. She was three assists shy of just the second triple double in school history, finishing with a career high seven helpers and no turnovers in 38 minutes of action. |
