Coming off a disappointing loss to archrival Western Kentucky on Thursday, MTSU's Lady Raiders vented their frustrations against Marshall on Saturday.
MTSU shot almost 50 percent from the field, nailed 14 3-pointers and placed six players in double figures as it dominated Marshall 94-69 at Murphy Center.
The Lady Raiders improved to 17-9 overall and 12-3 in Conference USA play and remained in second place in the league. Marshall fell to 12-13 and 4-10.
"I thought we brought the intensity from the get-go," MTSU coach Rick Insell said. "I thought from the very first possession we were up in them.
