MACON, Ga. — Middle Tennessee softball was defeated by Mercer and UConn on Friday, February 21. The score of the Mercer game was 8-1 and the score of the UConn game was 6-1.
The Blue Raiders (3-9, 0-0) offensive struggles from the previous weekend continued in the two games to begin the Mercer Tournament. In the first game of the day, the Blue Raiders recorded more errors than hits in the loss to the Mercer Bears (7-4, 0-0). In the second inning, drove in on an RBI-single for the Blue Raiders lone run. and had the other two hits for the Blue Raiders.
